Last updated: 15 August 2026 · Brahm Byte Technologies
1. Who we are
Brahm Byte Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates News Brain, a SaaS platform that helps publishers launch and run digital news portals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It applies to our marketing website, account dashboards, APIs, and platform services offered under the News Brain brand. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the Service, and limited information from trusted third parties that help us operate the platform.
- Account and profile data: name, email address, organization or company name, phone number (if provided), role, and login credentials
- Portal and content data: portal configuration, branding assets you upload, categories, article metadata, media files, and workflow settings needed to run your news portal
- Billing and subscription data: plan selection, invoice history, payment status, and related tax or billing identifiers processed through our payment partners (we do not store full card numbers on our servers)
- Support and communications: messages you send to support, feedback forms, and related correspondence
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, feature usage, referral source, and diagnostic or error logs
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers used for authentication, preferences, security, and (where enabled) analytics
3. How we use information
We use personal and account-related data only as needed to run and improve the Service.
- Provide, operate, and maintain your News Brain account and portals
- Process subscriptions, invoices, renewals, and payment-related notices
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and protect the security and integrity of the platform
- Send service notices such as billing reminders, security alerts, product updates, and support replies
- Improve product performance, reliability, and user experience through aggregated or anonymized analytics where practical
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and respond to lawful requests
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Service work and to understand how it is used. You can control or block non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.
- Essential cookies: required for sign-in, session security, language preference, and portal preview
- Preference cookies: remember settings you choose within the product or marketing site
- Analytics cookies (where enabled): help us understand traffic and feature usage so we can improve the product
5. Accounts and access
When you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Organization administrators may invite team members and control roles within a portal.
If you believe an account has been compromised, contact us promptly at the support address below so we can help secure it.
6. Payments and billing data
Paid subscriptions for News Brain are processed by third-party payment providers. Those providers collect and process payment card or UPI details under their own security and privacy practices.
We receive limited billing information needed to confirm payment, issue invoices, handle renewals, and resolve billing disputes. Full card numbers are not stored by us.
7. Third parties and processors
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, and only as needed for that purpose.
- Hosting, storage, and content delivery providers
- Email and notification services
- Payment and invoicing partners
- Analytics and error-monitoring tools (where enabled)
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
8. Data retention
We retain account, portal, and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for recovery, legal, tax, audit, and dispute purposes.
After cancellation or account closure, we may retain limited records as required by law or for legitimate business needs, then delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer needed. You should export important content before closing your account.
9. Security
We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and monitoring for suspicious activity.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You can help by using strong passwords, limiting admin access, and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise these rights, email care@brahmbyte.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some requests may be limited where we must retain data for legal or operational reasons.
11. Children’s privacy
News Brain is intended for publishers, businesses, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International processing
We primarily operate from India (Bengaluru, Karnataka, India). Your information may be processed in India or in other locations where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred, we take steps appropriate to the nature of the transfer and applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
